Hello Villafranca, how are you?
Welcome to our home!
We imagine this place as a bridge between two cultures, where we bring together the great flavors we have, to create something truly unique.
We like to do things the old-fashioned way: paying attention to details and selecting our ingredients carefully.
We make an artisanal dough, worked entirely by hand, with high hydration (around 80%) and a 2-day cold fermentation. We use a blend of three flours—soy, rice, and wheat—to ensure a product that is as light as crispy.
We import most of our essential products from Italy, such as fior di latte, tomato pulp, cheeses, and other ingredients used in our preparations. In Spain, we buy extra virgin olive oil, chorizo, cecina, and all those high-quality products from Castilla y León—and from across the country—aiming to highlight and celebrate the value of each ingredient.
And last but not least, we use the products that our garden provides us.
All dumplings are hand-stretched, guaranteeing the customer a high-quality product.
In our production process, we use a pre-baking technique that allows us to freeze the product immediately after cooking, enabling us to offer a high-quality artisanal preparation.
We also like to think of ourselves as a bridge to our country, promoting products from different regions of our peninsula through their tastes and flavors.
We imagined an open space, free of barriers, in harmony with the street we live on: wood and stone, in harmony with ours and the surrounding houses.
Buen Camino!
Como en Roma
It was born from the idea of bringing a small piece of our beloved Rome to Villafranca del Bierzo — an authentic place, simple in its concept, like a traditional “Roman osteria.”
Where you eat pizza with your hands, and the hospitality is genuine, informal, and warm.
If you’d like to eat here, we’re delighted to have you! Tables are limited, but the service is quick: enjoy your meal at your own pace, and once you’ve finished, we kindly invite you to free up your table for other guests. If you prefer, you can order to takeaway and enjoy it wherever you like.
We are pilgrims, and the Camino changed our lives.
That’s why we’d love our guests to feel free, in our home, to talk, share, and even sit at a table with someone they don’t know—embracing the true spirit of the Camino.
